About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Ausenco. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for generating and reviewing technical documents and deliverables related to business line technologies.

Your primary focus will be on preparing specifications, design criteria, scope of work, and material take-off. You will also ensure that Engineering Discipline Deliverables are completed according to standards, checked, and approved prior to issue.

In addition, you will prepare engineering proposals, monitor budgets, and stay within the assigned budget. You will also coordinate the activities of a project team to ensure time and budget objectives are achieved.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will maintain a high level of communication with the Engineering Manager and regularly inform of technical activities, staffing, budgets, and schedules. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the Engineering Group to deliver best practice technical solutions and implementation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in applied science or engineering. You will also need strong experience with an engineering consulting firm, ideally EPCM, and demonstrated experience in the design of steel structures and concrete foundations for industrial and mining projects.

You will have enhanced knowledge of the Engineering ISO, AS, ANSI, API, etc. standard design codes and prior experience in a supervisory capacity in industry-related operations or research. You will also be experienced in dealing with clients and contractors directly.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be able to work independently, as part of a team, and as part of a multidisciplinary group.Why Ausenco?
