About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Renewals Leading Hand / Foreman to join our Renewals team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a direct labour workforce on pipeline rehabilitation projects using trenchless technology. Your primary focus will be on conditional assessments of pipeline and sewer rehabilitation, including various pipeline rehabilitation and lining works, structural network repairs, and structural rehabilitation and coating in QLD and Northern NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew of up to 6 personnel and ensure effective team management
  • Plan and execute pipe relining works, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
  • Drive and operate work trucks, maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with residents and interact with the public, providing excellent customer service
  • Conduct daily pre-starts with the crew and complete daily reports, ensuring accurate documentation

Requirements

  • Experience in the utilities and water sectors, with a strong understanding of pipeline rehabilitation
  • Excellent organisational, people, and works planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents and the public
  • Current Driver's license (MR or HR desirable) and Construction Industry card (white card)
