Join Our Team as a Graduate Analyst in the Note Issue Department

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Graduate Analyst in the Note Issue Department. As a Graduate Analyst, you will be responsible for providing advice based on research and analysis to support the development of new banknote designs and the supply of good quality banknotes to meet community demand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice based on research and analysis to support the development of new banknote designs
  • Contribute to the preparation of papers, briefing notes and reports for Senior Leaders
  • Apply writing skills, sound judgement and critical thinking skills to support analysis and drafting of project documents
  • Work closely with the legal and procurement teams within the Bank to aid in the preparation of legal agreements and contracts for projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to execute the objectives of the Note Issue Department
  • Undertake analysis to help inform the ongoing development of banknote strategy and policy
  • Complete your 2-year Graduate Program within the Banknote Strategy and Engagement team in the Note Issue Department
  • Influence projects and policy that relates to the provision of secure and reliable banknotes, which affects the lives of all Australians

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a degree in economics, law or another commerce or STEM field, and have completed your degree or Masters no earlier than December 2023.
