Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team at Pro AV Solutions. As a full-time Draftsperson, you will be responsible for drafting and revising audio-visual (AV) systems, including technical AV design validation, preparing AV signal flow diagrams, and reviewing and liaising with architectural and building trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical AV Design validation through the shop drawing process.
  • Preparing AV signal flow diagrams/system schematics.
  • Preparing typical elevations and layouts of AV equipment.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of drafting workflow, reference libraries and standards.
  • Reviewing and liaising with architectural and building trades for coordinated shop drawing packages.
  • Researching AV product information as needed for drawing preparation.
  • Coordinating with internal & external stakeholders, vendors and manufacturers as needed.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of full-time highly relevant post-qualification work experience in the Audio-Visual industry. You will have a strong understanding of Integrated AV systems, including their capabilities and using case scenarios to enable you to make informed decisions. You must be able to demonstrate that you are a strong technical thinker, an excellent communicator, have finite attention to detail and great problem-solving skills.
