Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker to join our team at Care Squared Futures, powered by Humanity Health Group.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals who face significant challenges in their employment journey. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality therapy and intervention to help individuals become 'job ready'.
Key Responsibilities- Support clients in their personal growth and development, empowering them to achieve their employment goals.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to customers, fostering a sense of competence and independence in their employment and training pursuits.
- Manage your own calendar to meet client expectations and workload, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Conduct mini-mental health training sessions on site for employment services staff, promoting a culture of well-being and support.
- Liaise with local health professionals and services as required, ensuring seamless collaboration and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key referrers and customers, establishing trust and confidence in our services.
- Identify and engage with potential new entrants to SLES, expanding our reach and impact.
- Complete risk assessments and discuss suitability of new participants and service offerings with relevant stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards of care.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker, you will possess a strong commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities or those facing unemployment challenges.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- An approved Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work degree.
- Full registration with an approved body.
- Determination and motivation for professional growth and development.
- A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients.
- High levels of verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-centric approach, with a focus on driving strong client relationships.
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle.
