Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. This will involve developing and implementing project plans, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage larger multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex projects and programs.
- Develop working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion.
- Proactively manage the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations.
- Responsible for preparation of project management plans, programs, budgets and other key project deliverables.
- Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
- Manage project timelines, risks and reporting.
- Manage internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management and contract risk.
Requirements
- Currently in Townsville or looking to relocate with full Australian Working Rights.
- A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or Architecture.
- Experience in government, hospitals/health, commercial or education projects.
- Project management experience delivering highly complex and technical projects.
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients.
