Drive Operational Excellence in Learning Delivery

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia, a leading provider of integrated financial services, is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the Learning Operations Hub. As Senior Learning Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining and optimizing administrative processes across all learning products.

This key position involves driving productivity, creating efficient processes, and ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality learning experiences that align with our strategic objectives for FY25 and beyond. The Learning Domain is expanding its focus to include this newly established 'Learning Operations Hub', which will serve as a central service model for HR squads and teams responsible for developing and delivering learning initiatives within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Learning Operations Hub team, fostering engagement, productivity, and alignment with organisational goals
  • Develop and implement operational frameworks, standards, and guidelines for all learning-related activities, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Learning product owners and other HR professionals to ensure seamless delivery of learning programs, aligning with broader organisational objectives
  • Manage budget, resources, and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations within the hub
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and feedback to optimise processes and enhance learning outcomes
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and address challenges that may arise within the team or with stakeholders, promoting a collaborative environment

About You:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong focus on driving productivity and operational excellence
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with broader organisational goals, leveraging analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong understanding of learning operations and program delivery, with experience in leading change management efforts, particularly in setting up new teams or functions within an organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, operating effectively in a matrixed organisation
  • 5+ years of experience in a learning and development or HR operations role, with a strong focus on process optimization and productivity, and a proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams

Salary: AU$140,000 - AU$160,000 per annum
