Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy Oracle databases using Oracle tools and frameworks.
  • Develop and implement Oracle database administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, and data modeling techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle databases with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain Oracle database documentation, including technical guides and user manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Oracle development, preferably in a large-scale and complex environment.
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including advanced features such as analytical functions, collections, dynamic SQL, and exception handling.
  • Experience in developing and deploying Oracle databases using Oracle tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Oracle database administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, and data modeling techniques.
  • At least 3 years' experience with software development methodologies, such as agile, waterfall, or scrum, and tools, such as version control, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria
  • Certification in Oracle technologies, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Certified Master (OCM), or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE), is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops as a tool for managing development workflows (such as tasks/PBI's).
  • Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for Oracle developers.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server advantageous.
