Job Title: Paediatric Speech Pathologist

Working Hours: Flexible hours available in Melbourne, VIC.

Location: Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, VIC.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Early Childhood Intervention Services: Provide therapy services to children aged 0-7 years, building on each family's strengths.
  • Goal Directed Therapy: Deliver speech pathology services to individuals experiencing learning, language, communication, feeding, sensory, intellectual, physical and cognitive difficulties.
  • Parent, Teacher and Carer Education: Educate families and carers to nurture change and support community participation in various environments.
  • Collaboration: Work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other speech pathologists to achieve individual goals.
  • Tailored Support Plans: Develop and review individual therapy and support plans to ensure goals are meaningful and meet the needs of each person.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualifications and Registration: Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration as a speech pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Australian Residency: Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Transportation: Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • Police Check and Working with Children Check: Current clearance certificates.
