Key Responsibilities- Provide Expert Financial Analysis and Advice: Provide expert financial analysis, policy development, and strategic advice to clients and senior executives on a broad range of complex public policy, financial management, and economic performance issues.
- Exercise Judgement and Authority: Exercise judgement, authority, and influence to effectively coordinate the management of client requirements.
- Develop Strategic Policy Initiatives: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to consider complex policy and financial matters and develop strategic policy initiatives.
- Represent Treasury: Represent Treasury on internal and external committees and interdepartmental working groups and assist the Executive Director in oral briefings for ministerial offices.
- Prepare Complex Reports: Prepare and guide the delivery of highly complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, commentary, publications, and correspondence often within tight timeframes.
- Leadership and Expertise: Leadership in support of the Executive Director to lead the team under pressure to deliver on outcomes.
- Strategic Advice: Providing expert advice that is strategic, practical, and solutions-oriented.
- Influential Communication: Influential communication (written and verbal) that is tailored to the audience.
- Relationship Management: Relationship management that encourages sharing of information and collaboration.
- Effective Judgement: Effective judgement, communication, and understanding different perspectives in developing solutions and working with others.
