Biomedical Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Microbiologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine microbiological procedures, including specimen dissection and recording of results.
• Maintain current scientific knowledge and participate in Quality Assurance activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and development of new assays as required.
• Participate in training staff and liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding test results or referrals.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate qualification in Microbiology or related field.
• Sound knowledge of QC, QAP and troubleshooting techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities.
• High level of independence, strong time management and interpersonal skills.
