Our company is seeking a seasoned Contracts Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of various commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management and be able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and administer confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Evaluate, manage, and monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, in-house attorneys, customers, distributors, and vendors to negotiate contracts and memorialize business objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 7 years of experience or equivalent knowledge in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and contract management.
- Paralegal or Contracts Specialist experience is essential. Senior Contracts Specialist experience is preferred.
- The ability to understand the scope and terms of contracts and implications of contractual terms and conditions on the company's bottom line.
- Creative problem-solving skills and experience with process improvement are highly encouraged.
- Competence in corporate compliance functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is mandatory.
