About the Position:- Primary responsibility for the treatment of primary accession and referred cases to our emergency and critical care department is required.
- Shared care of hospitalised patients both from the primary emergency caseload and the other specialist departments is necessary.
- Management of cases in the ICU often involves discussion and assistance from multiple specialist disciplines, providing an excellent opportunity for learning and case follow-up.
- Commitment to being a team player, good communicator and contributing to a positive workplace environment is essential.
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent with Veterinary Registration in VIC is required.
- Experience in an emergency veterinary setting is highly desirable.
- Support during your transition into the role and throughout your tenure.
- A generous hourly rate is offered.
- Up to 5 weeks annual leave, study leave and other perks are available.
- Excellent case exposure and patient care opportunities exist.
- No sole charge responsibilities are required.
