Credit analysis plays a vital role in the financial industry, particularly for corporate clients.

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for managing credit exposure on mid-large cap corporate clients. This involves proactively identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of financial accounting, lending principles, loan structuring, and documentation. They will also possess strong analytical and financial modeling skills, as well as the ability to articulate complex analysis with clear and concise written and verbal communication.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a sound understanding of products across Australian loan markets, trade, cash management, and derivatives. You will also require good time management and clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams and tasks.

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis or risk management within corporate/commercial or institutional banking
  • Extensive knowledge of financial accounting, lending principles, loan structuring and documentation
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Sound understanding of products across Australian loan markets, trade, cash management and derivatives
  • Ability to articulate analysis with clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Good time management and clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams and tasks
