Design and Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our research and development team at our manufacturing facility in Brisbane. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for evaluating design briefs, constructing prototypes, conducting tests and experiments, and recording results.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate design briefs and provide solutions that meet set requirements.
  • Construct and assemble prototypes to validate concepts.
  • Conduct tests, experiments and evaluations on new and existing products to demonstrate acceptable performance.
  • Record test results, observations and findings, preparing technical reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, propose solutions and iterate designs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains and cost reduction.
  • Support the specification of quality checks on parts and assemblies to ensure they meet design specifications and expectations.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design or a related field. Ideally, you will have experience in product development and process improvement using CAD software such as SolidWorks and knowledge of extrusions.
