Job Title: Trade Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trade Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding gold exploration and production company operating in Western Australia.

The Davyhurst project, where we operate, holds significant regional exploration potential in a large land holding of over 1,350km². Your responsibilities will include:

Safety First: Ensuring all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety regulations.

Pre-Start Meetings: Conducting pre-start meetings as required.

Safety Inspections: Monitoring safety inspections and action items to achieve deadlines.

Safety Promotion: Actively promoting safety throughout the workplace.

Equipment Operation: Operating manual hand tools and mobile equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Support Services: Providing support to tradespersons including Fitters, Boilermakers, and Electricians.

Task Achievement: Performing assigned tasks, operating equipment, work areas, and targets to safely and efficiently achieve those targets.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HR license (essential).
  • A Forklift ticket (essential).
  • Previous experience as a General Hand, Handyman, or Trades Assistant.
  • A current WA manual driver's license.
  • Previous mining experience.
  • Experience in a maintenance environment and working with hand tools and mobile equipment.
  • EWP and other high-risk certificates are desirable.
