Furniture Delivery Driver Job Description

At our distribution centre in Smeaton Grange, we are seeking an additional Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team.

  • Loading and unloading trucks and receiving goods is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Delivering to customers in a timely and friendly manner, with a focus on customer satisfaction is essential.
  • Setting up furniture, which may involve heavy lifting, requires physical fitness and good communication skills.
  • Wrapping assembled products in a protective manner ensures they arrive safely at the customer's home.
  • Inspecting furniture is crucial for ensuring it meets quality standards.

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess good communication skills and be physically fit. Previous experience handling furniture is highly regarded but not essential. This role requires travel across Sydney metro areas, with your base located in Smeaton Grange. A current driver's license and HR license are mandatory requirements for consideration. The typical day shift schedule applies, with opportunities for overtime pay. We require applicants to have the legal right to work permanently in Australia.
