Industrial Automation Specialist

As a seasoned professional in the field of industrial automation, you will be empowered to drive innovation and digital transformation across Oceania. You will shape the regional strategy for automation and robotics solutions, combining technical excellence with strategic vision to deliver business value.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales teams to design and deliver tailored solutions, present to executive levels, and support business transformation. Your expertise in automation and robotics technologies, including PLCs, SCADA, and Industry 4.0, will enable you to translate technical solutions into tangible business benefits.

To excel in this position, you will require strong leadership skills, enabling you to inspire and guide cross-functional teams towards shared goals. Your ability to build partnerships with universities, industry leaders, and internal stakeholders will be crucial in driving growth opportunities and securing funding and grants.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and executing proof-of-concept projects that showcase the potential of automation and robotics solutions.

  2. Collaborating with engineering teams to align frameworks, share assets, and strengthen delivery processes.

  3. Building alliances with universities, OEMs, system integrators, and industry leaders to accelerate growth opportunities.

  4. Representing the organization at executive forums, trade shows, and industry seminars to strengthen market presence and influence.

The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree and have at least 8+ years of experience in automation, robotics, or industrial solutions, including project management. Strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and technical expertise are also essential.
