Trainer and Assessor

We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer and Assessor to join our team at Emeco Group. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for providing site and workshop support in the Kalgoorlie region.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with site personnel to develop an annual training schedule and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Train and assess personnel on heavy equipment operations and maintenance procedures.
- Identify opportunities to upskill personnel and implement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Deliver Nationally Accredited units of competence and maintain accurate training records.
- Liaise with site management to ensure training processes and procedures are aligned with company policies and industry standards.
- Facilitate employee training and assessments, and participate in internal and external contractual audits.
- Maintain currency of qualifications and relevant industry experience, and assist in setting up the organisation's new Training Facility and associated Training Packages.
- Conduct HRW Licence Training and Assessments for HRW Classes for which you are accredited.
- Current Drivers Licence and High Risk Work License (HRWL).
- TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 (including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent; OR hold Diploma TAE).
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group.
- High level organisational and communication skills, and experience supporting maintenance/operations and use of heavy mobile equipment frequently used in the mining industry.
- Able to apply business, financial and technical strategic thinking concepts, and develop presentations and present to a group or a workplace.
