Job Title: Clinical Nurse - Plastics / Gynaecology / General Surgical Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our Plastics / Gynaecology / General Surgical department at Flinders Private Hospital. The successful candidate will have a passion for staff education and a proven track record of leading a team of nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nurses in the Plastics / Gynaecology / General Surgical department
  • Develop and implement staff education programs to enhance patient care and staff development
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to foster close working relationships with visiting consultants and other healthcare team members
  • Contribute to the development of quality nursing care, education, and customer service

Requirements:

  • South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Flinders Private Hospital
  • Committed to continuous quality improvement
  • Committed to provision of quality Nursing care, Education and customer service
  • Significant experience in Plastics / Gynaecology / General Surgical
  • Ability to create an environment that supports staff development by implementation of staff education programs
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to facilitate and enhance teamwork
  • Leadership and potential management skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands
  • Ability to work flexible hours
