Employee Relations Specialist

Job Description

This role is focused on providing strategic support to employee and industrial relations functions within a large organization.

The Employee Relations Specialist will work closely with departmental teams, unions, and other external bodies to promote and monitor contemporary employee and industrial relations issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to managers and clients on employee and industrial issues, including interpretation of legislation, policies, systems, and practices.
  • Contribute to the coordination and promotion of high-quality employee and industrial relations services and solutions.
  • Undertake research and analysis of employee and industrial relations matters.
  • Participate in consultation and negotiations with key stakeholders, professional associations, and other public sector agencies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new and revised processes, policies, and procedures relevant to employee and industrial relations.
  • Deliver project outcomes with a specific focus on employee and industrial relations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of employee and industrial relations laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
