Job Description

A talented professional is sought to provide technical leadership for the implementation and integration of modernized communication systems that will revolutionize military air traffic control communications.

This individual will work with cutting-edge COTS solutions from industry leaders, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure while maintaining continuous operations at critical defence facilities.

The role involves supporting the technical integration of advanced communication systems with existing ADATS infrastructure, coordinating between multiple vendors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing site-specific installation strategies across multiple RAAF bases, ensuring minimal operational impact during transitions.

Additionally, the candidate will support system verification and validation activities, including developmental testing and site acceptance testing.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in communications systems or a similar technical field, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in technical roles.

Proven experience in system integration, technical specification development, and complex system implementations is essential.

Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices, as well as experience producing engineering cost estimates and managing technical documentation, are also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University Degree in Engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in communications systems or similar technical field
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in technical roles
