Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Clinical Specialist - Wound Care Management to join our dynamic team committed to improving clinical outcomes across aged care settings in NSW and ACT.

In this role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert, driving proactive, evidence-based strategies for wound prevention and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement wound care management protocols across various settings.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Consultants and Educators to build strong relationships and implement Models of Care.
  • Oversee program outcome data and lead the process of policy and practice improvement, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices for Wound Care Management and Prevention.
  • Provide expert coaching and support to ensure best practices are adopted across aged care services.

Requirements:

  • Extensive practical knowledge of clinical and health services with at least 5+ years of aged care nursing experience with a strong background in Wound Care Management and Prevention.
  • Postgraduate qualification in wound management and relevant AHPRA registration.
  • Ability to travel regularly, approximately every few weeks.
