Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Policy and Procedure Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will review and improve our current policy framework, ensuring inclusivity, accessibility, and compliance with legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new policies and procedures to support staff and stakeholders
  • Lead process mapping initiatives to improve operational efficiency
  • Create best practice guides to support staff in their roles
  • Engage with stakeholders, facilitate consultations, and deliver training on key HR policies
  • Develop a comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) framework to foster an inclusive workplace culture
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or similar
  • Sound working knowledge of Australian and QLD employment law and relevant Awards
  • Experience with policy mapping and human resources procedures
  • Experience using a range of information technology systems and HR software
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check and QLD open Driver's license
  • Hold, or be eligible to apply for, a Licensed Care Suitability Check issued by the Department of Child Safety, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs
