Job Title: Policy Officer - Commercial and Financial Policy Expert

We are seeking a skilled Policy Officer to join our team, providing strategic commercial and financial policy advice to support the development of impactful policy initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality policy advice on commercial and financial matters, supporting various policy areas and projects.
  • Analyze complex data and information to inform policy decisions, working closely with stakeholders across government agencies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry experts, and community groups.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, public policy/administration, law, commerce, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience within government and understanding of government processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop expertise in insurance and risk policy, drawing from commercial, economic, and/or regulatory frameworks.
