Job Description

The Golf Operations Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of front-of-house duties and outside components of golf operations. This includes managing the golf cart fleet, maintaining the Pro Shop, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the outside staging area is always presented in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
  • Golf Cart Management: Manage the fleet of motorized carts, including deep cleaning, drying, and presenting them in a brand-new condition.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain golf carts and equipment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper working order.
  • Communication: Communicate with Golf Shop staff to ensure all hire equipment has been accounted for and rental agreement forms have been completed.
  • Customer Service: Assist guests with golf bags, loading and unloading them onto carts, and provide information on course details, fees, and tee time availability.
  • Facility Security: Enforce all club rules and dress regulations, and remove any rubbish within the club surrounds and car park.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support Services: Provide support and assistance inside the golf shop, including the operation of point-of-sale terminals, end-of-day procedures, and reconciliation of daily sales.
  • Customer Support: Provide information to callers regarding course details, fees, and tee time availability.
  • Course Monitoring: Monitor the golf course for slow play and maintain all golf shop systems.
Qualifications
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment and build positive relationships with members and guests.
  • Golf Knowledge: Knowledge of golf operations and equipment is advantageous.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling golf equipment.
