We are seeking a highly skilled Autonomous Haulage Systems Technician to join our team at Position Partners. As an Autonomous Haulage Systems Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting autonomous mining equipment, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Test Autonomous Mining Equipment: Safely operate and test autonomous mining equipment in various environments, including testing and calibration.
- Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues with autonomous mining equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Configure and Calibrate Sensors and Components: Configure and calibrate on-board sensors and components, including GPS, cameras, LiDAR, radar, and communications systems.
- Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on autonomous mining equipment and technology.
- Dispatch and Coordinate Autonomous Operations: Dispatch and coordinate autonomous operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
- Strong Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as experience with autonomous mining equipment.
