Key Job Responsibilities

The Manager, Trusts and Foundations will lead and build the university's philanthropic program developing and implementing a national strategy to secure funding from Public and Private Ancillary Funds.

  • Develop and implement a national strategy to secure philanthropic funding aligning with funder priorities and our mission.
  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of philanthropic partners and intermediary funders.
  • Write high-quality proposals that align with funder priorities and our mission.
  • Coordinate the full donor lifecycle from cultivation to acquittal and reporting.
  • Represent us at events meetings and immersion experiences strengthening partner relationships.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in philanthropy communications or business or equivalent experience in development and donor relations.
  • A minimum 3-5 years' experience in Trusts and Foundations fundraising.
  • Proven success in writing and managing grant submissions.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with donors intermediaries and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
