The Role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our WA Maintenance team on a local DIDO role. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Cutting, notching, drilling, reaming, shaping, and forming steel components using correct tooling
  • Fitting up and adequately tack welding steel components
  • Applying temporary bracing to ensure post-welded components are within tolerance and dimensions
  • Straightening steel components post-welding to comply with dimensions
  • DIDOing each day to Pinjarra, with an allowance of $48.00 per day paid in addition to accommodate for this

About You

To be successful in the role, you will possess:

  • Nationally recognised Trade Certificate – Boilermaker or Metal Fabrication
  • 2+ years Industrial experience as a Boilermaker
  • Previous maintenance experience within the mining and resources sector
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
