About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Border Force Officer - Maritime Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of Australia's maritime border.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiative, flexible, resourceful with and an enthusiastic approach to work
  • Good decision making skills and ability to show good judgement under pressure
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Work competently with Microsoft suite i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to research and analyse information to support recommendations and decisions
  • Provide accurate, consistent, timely and appropriate advice

Our team is responsible for delivering the Marine Workforce Capability for the Australian Border Force (ABF) in supporting our mission to protect Australia's borders and enable legitimate trade and travel.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
