Senior Planning Consultant Role

We are seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to join our team, responsible for developing strategic asset plans and coordinating all aspects of planning for future public school site requirements.

  • This includes developing and maintaining a strategic plan for all future government school site requirements across the state, assisting with due diligence site inspections for future school sites, and providing school site planning input into the Department's Geographic Information System planning database.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in strategic planning, site development, and project management.
Suitable Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of expertise in land planning, urban design, and policy development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in data analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), and spatial planning.
  • A current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department's Screening Unit.
