Poche Fellowship in Melanoma and Surgical Oncology

This prestigious fellowship is an excellent opportunity for a skilled surgeon to develop a vocational interest in the field of melanoma and surgical oncology.

The fellowship involves a substantial clinical workload in dedicated outpatient clinics, operating sessions, and weekly multidisciplinary meetings.

  • Location: The position is based at the Melanoma Institute Australia's North Sydney campus, as well as the Mater Hospital Crows Nest, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Camperdown.

This twelve-month program commencing in February 2027 offers a unique blend of clinical experience and research opportunities. The successful candidate will have access to the internationally respected Melanoma Research Database, allowing them to undertake significant research during this period.

As part of the fellowship, applicants are required to submit:

  • A curriculum vitae highlighting their qualifications and experience
  • A cover letter explaining why they want to pursue a career in melanoma and surgical oncology
  • Proof of specialist qualification
  • Current medical registration/licensing
  • Medical indemnity
  • Contact details of three referees

The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the advancement of melanoma treatment and care.

This role requires a high level of expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements
