Senior General Commercial Litigation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to lead our General Commercial Litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in commercial litigation matters, with expertise in insolvency and building disputes.
This is a dynamic and busy practice area, with a strong base of existing clients who require guidance and support from highly skilled professionals. As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with the team's Principal Lawyer, Special Counsel and other senior colleagues to provide coaching and guidance to lawyers within the team.
You will be responsible for supporting the team's business development plan through targeted presentations, articles and website content, as well as participating in events and activities as required. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tailored advice on complex matters to a variety of clients, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely manner. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of new ideas and strategies for the team, as well as identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
We are looking for someone who is organized, motivated and confident, with excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. If you are a motivated and ambitious professional who is passionate about general commercial litigation, we would love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will be able to work full-time, or part-time which may include working across five days with reduced hours or a compressed working week. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in Melbourne or Geelong, but flexibility to work across offices and from home is essential.
