About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Catering Attendant to join our team at dnata catering. As a Catering Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting meals for our airline customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present meals to a high standard, ensuring presentation specifications are met.
  • Stock and replenish dry store items, including equipment, packaged snacks, and beverages.
  • Load and unload wash lines, ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are in perfect condition.
  • Comply with food safety and HACCP guidelines, and adhere to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
  • Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure delivery timelines.
Requirements
  • Sound numerical skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as move and lift items.
  • Ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
  • Neat and tidy presentation.
  • Sound knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desired but not essential).
  • Basic knife skills (desired but not essential).
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
