We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Spray Painter to join our Workshop team at Skilled Jobs Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove rough spots on vehicle panels
  • Treat vehicles with proofing chemicals
  • Sand surfaces by hand and with power sanders
  • Mask areas not to be painted with tape and paper
  • Colour match and mix paints to match paint shades, and select pre-mixed paint
  • Apply primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sand surfaces between

Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training
  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Able to use a pneumatic-powered spray gun and the ability to carry out minor mechanical repairs
