Fellowship Opportunity in Adult Cardiac Surgery

Alfred Health, a leader in healthcare delivery and improvement, has an exciting opportunity for a cardiothoracic surgery fellow.
The 12-month position is designed for applicants who seek additional experience or training in adult cardiac surgery, transplantation, lung transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. This role is ideal for candidates who have completed their training but may not have sat the specialist registration examination.
Our department uses a variety of devices for mechanical circulatory support, with approximately 20-30 VAD implants annually. We also offer ECMO services and provide national service for pulmonary endarterectomy.
Successful applicants will be involved in all unit activities, including teaching programs and research initiatives.
