We are seeking people to join our team in the positions of Cleaner, Food Services Assistant and Support Services Attendant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cleaners will provide services to all departments, wards and public areas.
  • They will safely handle chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties.
  • They will identify and record any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety.
  • They will decontaminate surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff.

Food Service Assistants will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting patient meals.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys.
  • Preparing work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables.

Support Services Attendants will perform a range of tasks including:

  • Patient movement and coordination service.
  • Transporting patients across the hospital site as directed.
  • Assisting with transportation of medical equipment.
  • Collection and delivery of records and documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicilla, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B and Polio.
  • Be flexible to work a rotational roster.
  • Hold a current Police Clearance.
  • Hold a current DHS Working with Children Check.
