Academic Facilitator for Maths

We are seeking an experienced Maths teacher to join our team at Matrix Education, a leading provider of education services in Sydney.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher or postgraduate student looking for a casual teaching position that offers stability and flexibility.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team in a great work environment, with minimal lesson preparation required as lessons and resources are provided.
- Teach regular weekly classes throughout the academic term, with all lesson materials and resources prepared;
- Participate in teaching opportunities during the NSW school holiday period on weekdays;
- Monitor students' academic progress through short weekly quizzes and flag struggling students to academic team leaders for additional mentoring;
- A genuine passion for teaching;
- Previous experience teaching secondary Maths in a classroom setting;
- Extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5, and 6 Maths;
- A completed degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline;
- Postgraduate studies in the above-listed disciplines will be highly regarded;
