Cloud Software Engineer

We're seeking a talented Cloud Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers the platform.

With exposure to a wide range of technologies and challenges, this role offers the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Our infrastructure must be highly secure, scalable, and available, supporting thousands of servers and hundreds of thousands of end users.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components using industry-standard programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve overall code quality and best practices.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and comfort with Object-Oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, Amazon RDS) and public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
