Food Technology Quality Specialist

Within the beverage industry, a Quality Coordinator role has become available. This position will oversee the implementation and monitoring of quality systems in our manufacturing operations.
The main objective is to ensure that our customers' expectations are consistently met by ensuring all products manufactured meet the agreed specifications. Additionally, technical assistance and advice will be provided to the manufacturing operation to enhance overall performance.
- Key responsibilities include ensuring product quality standards are maintained through sensory panels, coordinating testing throughout the manufacturing operation, and investigating product failures.
- Detailed analysis of results will be required to provide feedback on operational performance with respect to quality parameters and suggest improvements for operational activities.
- Collaboration with the Product Development team will also be necessary to implement accurate specifications, ensuring that product quality meets consumer expectations.
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess tertiary qualifications in Food Technology and a minimum of 3 years' experience within the food industry in a Quality Assurance role.
A strong background in HACCP implementation and internal auditing is highly desirable.
