An experienced Project Officer is required to assist the Civilian Armoured Vehicle (CAV) team in delivering a range of service improvements and capabilities for CAVs.

The department operates and manages a fleet of over 100 CAVs constructed by a variety of armourers in over 20 locations internationally.

The successful candidate will work closely with the AV team business areas and technical experts to deliver service improvements and capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing communication plans
  • Creating content for various channels and ensuring clear and effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and systems
  • Developing and delivering training programs and project plans supporting the successful implementation of project initiatives

Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Providing comprehensive administrative support to project teams including scheduling documentation and coordination of activities.

Experience with designing and producing infographics to support project presentations reports and marketing materials.

Mandatory qualifications and experience include:

  • Proven experience in project management or a similar role
  • Vehicle fleet management experience essential
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in creating infographics and other visual aids
  • Experience in change management practices and principles
  • Experience in developing project plans

This role requires a current Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance prior to commencement.
