About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing a custom Jira platform for the client's agile development team. This role demands close collaboration with senior stakeholders to align the system with the company's evolving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and build Jira solutions tailored to the unique requirements of technical development teams.
  2. Create custom dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights on project performance and team velocity.
  3. Successfully implement and manage Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) within the Jira environment.
  4. Optimize Jira for Agile workflows, including sprints, backlogs, and epics.
  5. Integrate the new Jira instance with existing business tools and platforms.
About You
  1. At least 3-5 years of hands-on Jira administration and customization experience.
  2. A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  3. Proven proficiency in utilizing Jira plugins and add-ons such as ScriptRunner, Jira Service Management, and Portfolio for Jira.
  4. Demonstrated experience within the Australian financial services or insurance industry is highly advantageous.
