Job Title: Senior Manager - Strategy and Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead the development of long-term growth strategies for Dugald River, a world-class zinc mine operation.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that will be accountable for leading the development of innovative strategies to maximise the potential of Dugald River, focusing on innovation, technology, and transformation.

The successful candidate will coordinate and support the delivery of short-term site initiatives and strategies to drive continuous business improvement across all areas of the operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement growth and innovation strategies and work programs to maximise the potential of the Dugald River asset.
  • Collaborate with the Dugald River leadership team, Australian Operations support function managers, and group functions to establish operational objectives, tactical plans, and improvement initiatives.
  • Determine department objectives, formalise and cascade plans, and manage performance against plans.
  • Oversee the management of Mine Technical support (Geological and Mine Engineering Technical Services), site-based IT support, and business improvement functions.
  • Lead operational and generational transformation of Dugald River technical and support operations through investigating and optimising ways of work, including technology, flexibility, and resource planning.
  • Accountable for the management and quality of the weekly and monthly reporting requirements while continuously developing site data reporting systems.

Remuneration for this role includes a competitive salary package, annual bonus, and generous local allowances for employees living in the local community of Cloncurry and Mt Isa.
