Fabrication Metalworker

**West Coast Sheet Metal: A Leading Manufacturer of Building and Home Improvement Products**

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Metalworker to join our operations team based in Forrestdale, Perth.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working an 8-hour Day Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm) with overtime optional. The hourly rate for this position is $37.20 to $40.50 per hour.

The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing goods to customers' requirements, including interpreting technical product drawings, MIG welding using mild steel and silicone bronze. Additional tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, operating plant and mobile equipment, such as overhead cranes, collaborating with team members and other departments, participating in training on the use of specific items of plant and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to strict safety rules to contribute to a safe working environment.

• Essential skills and qualifications include welding experience of mild steel, galvanized products in both light and heavy gauges, at least 2 years relevant experience working in a production environment, and a strong mechanical aptitude with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Desirable qualifications include AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication).
