The Opportunity:
Sales Specialists & Consultants are product, services, software or solution specialists that are responsible for leading pursuit in their assigned focus areas. They collaborate with and support Account Managers, providing specialist expertise within the sales team. These individuals drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.
About the Role:
- Duties: Develops long-term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share in specialized areas, uses specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities, sells complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis, and maintains broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.
- Responsibilities: Contributes to enduring executive relationships that establish the company's consultative professionalism and promote its total solution capabilities, establishes professional, working, and consultative relationships with clients, including C-level executives, and may act as a dedicated resource to a few strategic accounts.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Includes achieving progressively higher quota diversity of business customers, higher level customer interface, and demonstrated achievement of quota diversity of business customers.
Requirements:
- Education: University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Directly related previous work experience and prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse sets of selling responsibilities.
- Skills and Qualifications: Viewed as an expert in the given field by the company and customer, considered a mentor of selling strategy, including designing strategy, and typically 3+ years of related sales experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
