Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Officer to join our team at the Joint Command and Control Systems Program Office (JC2SPO). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex project activities and inputs in accordance with organisational practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and achieve complex project management work within an integrated workforce.
  • Manage a range of project activities and inputs in accordance with organisational practices and standards appropriate to the complexity of the project.
  • Facilitate administrative and coordination requirements, engage and coordinate resources, meet governance and reporting requirements; and support business planning and related activities.
Requirements
  • High-level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative, with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives.
  • Ability to establish clear plans and timeframes, and respond positively to change and uncertainty.
  • Innovative and adaptive thinking, and readiness to take accountability while taking a risk-based and flexible approach to delivering outcomes.
  • High-level written and oral communication, agility and flexibility, adeptness at collaboration, and ability to effectively manage within an integrated team environment.
  • Sound commercial and business acumen and a demonstrated understanding of the Defence Industry sector in Australia.

The Joint Command and Control Systems Program Office (JC2SPO) is responsible for the acquisition, integration and sustainment of command, and control warfare systems for the Australian Defence Force across the country and in operational theatres overseas.
