Maintenance Operations Lead

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Lead to oversee the team responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance, as well as minor project work on the customer's housing portfolio. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams to achieve work outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Oversee execution of work schedules for the team
  • Streamline processes within the maintenance team, focusing on customer service
  • Ensure team compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Manage work orders and budgets through SAP
  • Step into the role of Maintenance Supervisor or Senior Maintenance Officer in times of absence
  • Promote a positive image when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Undertake operational tasks consistent with supporting the mission

This position is ideal for someone with trade qualifications background, preferably Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry, and experience in SAP and Facilities maintenance and operations. Excellent customer service, communication skills, and time management are also essential. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience planning and overseeing work schedules for a team.
