Job Description

This is a 12-month max-term contract position located at our Brisbane CBD office, offering the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join our team and implement and execute our Test Strategy in the delivery of assigned initiatives. You will provide expertise and execute the implementation of testing strategies for initiatives, including critical activities such as test planning, stakeholder management, reporting, test automation, test resource management, and risk/issue management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and execute a Test Strategy for Great Southern Bank's strategic programs of work.
  • Coordinate stakeholder management, strategy, resource planning, implementation, execution, analysis, and reporting for all testing engagements.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the Test Team, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery across System, Functional, Regression, and Business Acceptance test phases.
  • Evaluate partners and third-party vendors/suppliers to ensure they meet Great Southern Bank quality requirements and integrate testing processes with our internal processes.
  • Manage the defect management process and tools, ensuring quality of items raised and adherence to the defined defect lifecycle, as well as ownership of defect triage.
  • Provide project stakeholders with high-quality verbal and graphical test reporting metrics based on relevant test development progress, execution, and defects.
  • Manage test execution across project streams for multiple test cycles and phases.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Test Manager/Lead involving complex integration projects, preferably within the financial sector.
  • 5+ years' experience of Testing within software development projects at Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst level.
  • Experience directly managing Test Teams with a variety of resources from various test disciplines via both onshore and offshore models.
  • Excellent leadership skills and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written documentation.
  • Extensive experience in developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and other related test documentation.
  • Extensive experience across multiple software development methodologies and the SDLC.
  • Experience managing Vendors and driving accountability for quality.
  • Experience planning, managing, and coordinating business UAT.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work to clearly defined and structured plans or plan and organize your own workload to achieve tight deadlines.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
