Housing Support Professional - Secure Environment Job Opportunity
- A dynamic Housing/Shelter Support Worker opportunity is available with our organization, providing a safe and welcoming space for individuals in need.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying clients' challenges, developing plans to address them, and delivering individualized support services. They must possess strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing resident support plans
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment
- Providing life skills training and counseling services
- Collaborating with professionals to support residents
Requirements:
The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in a related human service field and have at least one year of recent experience in a similar role. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills are essential.
This full-time position involves working 36 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The hourly wage ranges from $31.56 to $33.49, plus additional pay for overnight shifts and weekend work.
