About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our high-performing Public Law - Commercial team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with pre-eminent partners to provide exceptional legal services to government clients.
Key Responsibilities- Advise Australian government clients on a broad range of ICT, government procurement, and commercial matters
- Work on complex, high-value projects with a strong focus on ICT projects
- Supervise other lawyers in the team and contribute to business development activities
- Provide pragmatic and solutions-focussed advice and high-quality contract drafting
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years' experience as a commercial lawyer working with government clients
- Procurement and general commercial law experience
- Strong technical, analytical, drafting, and research skills
- A collaborative and team-focussed attitude
- Strong emotional intelligence and inter-personal skills
- Motivated, with a keenness to learn and innovate
